Background

Nexus World-School is the first International School in Putrajaya. Set in the heart of the Diplomatic enclave, Nexus World-School offers the most innovative and progressive international curricula. Nexus World-School, Putrajaya is managed by Garden International School (GIS). As one of Malaysia's largest private international schools with over 55 years of history in education, the school houses students from 58 countries throughout the world. A highly applauded educational institute, GIS has also been recognised as one of the top ten international schools in the world by The Guardian in 2006.

What Makes Us Special?

Within the expansive and scenic grounds of Nexus World-School, Putrajaya,classes are taught both indoors and outdoors, thereby extending learningbeyond the confines of the traditional four-walled classroom.

A select group of highly qualified teachers from around the world have been chosen to facilitate learning through acclaimed International Curricula that aims to spark children's innate curiosity and desire to learn through progressive methods.

At Nexus World-School, ICT is an integral part of the learning process.Research work can be carried out using the internet via wi-fi access on wireless Macbook laptops. Children will be given opportunities to report and record their learning through video clips, digital photos and pod casting thereby encouraging students to share their work and ideas with each other and the world.

General facilities include a swimming pool, tennis courts, football field, fullyequipped auditorium, two-tiered library and boarding facilities in the future.
