New vocational courses in schools
Education Ministry will introduce three new courses in technical and vocational secondary schools nationwide - equine studies, aviation studies and marine studies.
Deputy Education Minister Dr Puad Zarkashi said that these courses will help meet demand for skilled and semi-skilled workers in the relevant industries.
He also said the ministry was also working on recruiting more qualified vocational teachers and expect to have 10,000 vocational and technical teachers by 2015.
