Applications for Entry into Maktab Rendah Sains MARA

Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) invites Standard Six 2009 students to to apply for entry to Form One at Maktab Rendah Sains MARA (MRSM) for the year 2010 in Peninsular Malaysia.
Entry Requirements
- Malaysian citizen.
- Applications are open to students studying in Peninsular Malaysia:
- Standard six Bumiputera students.
- Standard six non-Bumiputera students studying at Sekolah Kebangsaan or Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan.
- Achieve a total of 5As in the Ujian Penilaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) year 2009 examinations.
How to Apply Online
- Applicants can obtain their free PIN from State MARA Offices, District MARA Offices or Maktab Rendah Sains MARA (MRSM) during office hours starting from the day the UPSR 2009 results are officially announced.
- Applicants need to bring a copy of their Birth Certificate and a certified copy of their UPSR 2009 results when obtaining their PIN.
- Applicants need to fill in all the required information in the online application form and ensure that the form is submitted online. For more information please visit the MARA website at http://www.mara.gov.my
- Applicants need to mail a printout of the form along with related documents to the address below:

Closing Date for Applications
- The last day for online applications is 30 of November 2009.
- The last day for submission of form printouts and related documents is 3 of December 2009
Applications for Entry into Technical Secondary Schools 2010
Students who have sat for Penilaian Menengah Rendah (PMR) Year 2009 are invited to apply for entry into Sekolah Menengah Teknik nationwide for the 2010 intake.
Sekolah Menengah Teknik offers:
- Technical Stream
- Vocational Stream
- Skills Stream
How to Apply:
Applications have to be made online starting 30 September 2009.

Application Results:
The application results will be announced online and can be viewed on the website starting 18 January 2010.
Appeals:
If the application is unsuccessful, the applicant can appeal directly to the relevant Sekolah Menengah Teknik.
